At Epic, we acknowledge that every training modality makes a specific contribution. This means that  a boxing class doesn’t necessarily need to offer stretching, a running session doesn’t need pushups, and a swimming class doesn’t lead leaping and handstands. It all depends on the results we’re after.

But if we want superior performance and superior experience, then there must be more. Elite athletes like Michael Phelps know the power of breath, relaxation and visualization.

If your goal is to design and train within a well-rounded session, for yourself or others, then you must include breathwork, appropriate stretching and visualization work. Your program is simply handicapped without them, like a four leg stool with only one leg. Ouch!

An Epic class always emphasizes Recovery Breathing, Awareness and a significant Conscious Relaxation practice. To these ends, Epic recommends you check out Inner Getaway, which is hosting a special event on October 20th for just these key lessons: breathing, stretching and visualization.

While Melted Bliss won’t be fitness-related, per se, it will be a retreat worthy of a hero!
