Testimonials

“I like that you are pushing the boundaries of conventional fitness and not in a fad kind of way. In my experience—from Sports, to torturing my body with weights, to now a much more natural and efficient and holistic approach—I think your thoughts on the future of fitness are quite visionary.”

“I am SO in! I am definitely in that space of “willing to change” as opposed to my previous disposition of “wanting to change” – thanks for your patience and being part of the journey!
Bring it on!”

“I can honestly say that this was the best exercise program that I have had. I’ve done a lot of different things in the past. None of these compare to the positive experience I had with your class.

I took a chance and I have not regretted it. Your class is positive, motivating and respectful of members’ individual strengths. The only yardstick for achievement is that each member tries to improve their own performance and not a competition among the participants. No one is ever made to feel bad. It is a credit to how you have designed the program and in particular the people who taught it. Thank you very much.”

“I thought the Epic class was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken. It was very well balanced between cardio, strength, and overall flexibility. One of the reasons I really liked this class was because unlike yoga or budakon, I never once felt like my lack of fitness impeded me from getting the best workout possible. Very infrequently does a group class allow people at different fitness levels achieve the same goals. I have incorporated the moves from these classes into my daily workouts, and have definitely noticed a difference in both my appearance and overall health. Along with this, I’ve discovered that you really can get a great workout in a short amount of time, which is something I never fully appreciated before. I look forward to taking this class again!”

“As a runner of a half-marathons and getting ready for my first triathlon, I think the Epic really helped get me out of my comfort zone of running, biking, swimming, lifting, etc. which I do day in and day out. I liked the fact that we focused on quality and not just speed, but I was also happily surprised that with each test, I got faster without really sacrificing the quality. I think the thing that I liked the most and was surprised about was the supportive atmosphere not just from you, but from everyone in the class – it was great. I also have to admit that I like the music during the test – I don’t know where you go it from, but you will need to tell me so I can download it onto my ipod!”

“I found THE EPIC WORKOUT to be both challenging and rewarding. I thought I was in decent shape going into the program, but came away realizing that I had the capacity to do much, much more. The WORKOUT helped to energize and motivate me while providing a set of new exercises that I have incorporated into my weekly workouts. Including the “homework” into my program has taken my fitness to a new level. The class atmosphere provides the right amount of competitiveness with a mix of collegial support. I always felt challenged without the pressure to go too far. You did a great of building the base while introducing something new each week. Kept it interesting.

Anyone taking this class will be tested.”

“You can do the EPIC workout anywhere!! I had to travel so much this summer and found myself able to “workout” in the hotel room and airport. Although I may have received some odd looks in Chicago’s O’Hare airport, it certainly made the plane ride more enjoyable. This was a challenging workout that can be done at any skill level and can be built upon as your body strengthens, I will definitely be incorporating movements from the EPIC workout into my daily exercise routine.”
